Vivien Lim graduated from the National University of Singapore Medical School. Subsequently, she gained both an MRCP (UK) and a Masters in Internal Medicine in Singapore and embarked on endocrinology training in Singapore for which she was accredited as a Specialist in Endocrinology. After specialising in Endocrinology, she had worked as a consultant in a government hospital where she held the post of programme director of the endocrine residency programme and had been appointed as a Senior Lecturer to the National University of Singapore, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. She works currently in the Gleneagles Medical Centre in Singapore.
She held the post of the President of the Endocrine Metabolic Society of Singapore from 2016 to 2018, Hon Secretary of the Osteoporosis Society of Singapore (OSS) in 2016-2018 and currently sits in the executive committee. She had also been the Peer Coordinator of Doctors Without Borders (Medicins Sans Frontieres) in Singapore. She will be the Chair of ICE 2022 in Singapore.
